# Esleiter Fajardo

> A curious human living what we call reality: he takes it apart to understand it, enjoys it, and builds things that give something back to the world. Co-founder and CTO of Bonddin.ai. Systems engineer and machine-tool technician.

## Timeline

He was educated and built his industrial career in Venezuela; his professional career in technology has been in Ecuador.

### Venezuela: education and industry

- Early years: as a child he took toys apart to understand how they worked; at 14 he wrote his first lines of code (PHP, SQL, HTML, CSS).
- Technical school: graduated with honors as a machine-tool technician. Projects: a high-voltage ozone generator prototype for water purification, and a detailed study of how to build a precooked corn flour company (facilities, machinery and processes).
- Undergraduate degree: systems engineering.
- CNC machining: 3D modeling of parts and programming of the machines.
- Corn flour plant: planning and supervision of the assembly and construction of a production plant.

### Ecuador: technology

- July 2023: 1st place at [<el_hackathon>](https://github.com/Esleiter/el_hackathon) Vol. I (Épico, Telconet Latam, Globant, Publifyer), among 120 participants, with an app that generates social media posts using ChatGPT and DALL·E 2.
- October 2023: took part in the [NASA Space Apps Challenge](https://www.spaceappschallenge.org/): predicting geomagnetic disturbances with DSCOVR satellite data and AI.
- October 2023: 2nd place at <el_hackathon> Vol. II (Épico, Tipti, Payphone); opened the ceremony on behalf of the previous edition's winners.
- 2024: Community Pilot at DotNet Ecuador.
- April 2024 – September 2025: software developer at [PCGerente](https://www.pcgerente.com/).
- November 2025 – present: co-founder and CTO of [Bonddin.ai](https://www.bonddin.ai/), a platform that helps companies manage purchasing across every department with better information, better supplier performance and less manual work.
- March 2026: 1st place at the [Startup Grind](https://www.startupgrind.com/) and [WebCongress](https://webcongress.com/) Pitch Competition (Pitch Battle Quito), with Bonddin; part of the startup delegation to San Francisco.
- July 2026: Bonddin hosted the "Decision Makers" event at Ecuador Tech Week, in Quito.
- August 2026: top 3 at [Startup World Cup Ecuador](https://swcecuador.com/), with Bonddin (out of 15 finalists).

## Before and after AI

He learned his craft before generative AI, when every line of code was written, debugged and understood by hand. Working across many languages and tools left him with judgment: understanding how things work inside, knowing what is worth building, and recognizing when something is done well. The LLM boom arrived at exactly the right moment to amplify those skills (his first big milestone, in 2023, was an app built on ChatGPT and DALL·E 2). Today he orchestrates AI agents in the right direction: he builds faster and learns at a speed that wasn't possible before.
