About Esleiter Fajardo.

I was educated in Venezuela, where I also took my first steps in industry. My career in technology, on the other hand, I have built in Ecuador, and that is where the moments I remember most came. In 2023 we won <el_hackathon> against 120 participants and, in the next edition, made the podium again in second place. In 2026, now with Bonddin, we won the Startup Grind and WebCongress Pitch Competition in Quito, which earned us a place in the startup delegation to San Francisco, and we finished in the top three of Startup World Cup Ecuador.

education · venezuela

As a child I took apart every toy I could to find out how it worked, and at 14 I wrote my first lines of code in PHP, SQL, HTML and CSS. At the same time I attended technical school, where I graduated with honors as a machine-tool technician and learned the math and physics that the industrial world around us is built on.

That is where I developed my first engineering projects. I researched how to purify water with ozone, to the point of building a prototype that generates the molecule with high voltage. I also studied in depth how precooked corn flour companies work, until I completed a detailed document on how to build one: its facilities, its machinery, its processes.

My first stage was in CNC machining: I worked on the 3D modeling of parts and on programming the machines that produced them.

Later I was in charge of planning and supervising the assembly and construction of a corn flour production plant. It closed a circle: the study I had done in technical school became a real plant.

The bridge between the workshop and software was my undergraduate degree in systems engineering, which I also completed in Venezuela. In Ecuador I put all of it into practice. In 2023 I tested it in competitions: I won <el_hackathon>, took part in the NASA Space Apps Challenge and made the podium again in the second edition of <el_hackathon>. Between 2024 and 2025 I worked as a software developer at PCGerente and supported the DotNet Ecuador community as Community Pilot.

before and after ai

I learned my craft before generative AI. I learned to program when every line of code was written, debugged and understood by hand. I went through many languages and tools, and more than mastery of any one of them, what they left me with was judgment: understanding how things work inside, knowing what is worth building and recognizing when something is done well.

That is why, when the LLM boom arrived, I didn't have to start from scratch. Generative AI came at exactly the right moment to amplify the skills I already had; it is no coincidence that my first big milestone, in 2023, was an app built on ChatGPT and DALL·E 2. Today I orchestrate AI agents in the right direction: I build faster and learn at a speed that wasn't possible before.

today

Since November 2025 I have been co-founder and CTO of Bonddin.ai, the platform that helps companies manage purchasing across every department with better information, better suppliers and less manual work. There I put everything above into practice: the discipline of the workshop, the judgment of engineering and the speed that comes from working with AI agents.

a phrase that stays with me

“If someone has already done it, why not you? And if no one has done it yet, then you will be the first.”
